No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or application information.
Purpose-Driven Storage: Every cookie or local storage item used by Aplyr serves an essential functional purpose: keeping your session secure, remembering your workspace preferences, or ensuring your unsaved edits are not lost during network interruptions.

2Essential & Authentication Cookies

These cookies and security tokens are strictly necessary for the application to function. They authenticate your account, prevent CSRF attacks, and ensure your session remains secure.

3Functional & Workspace Preferences

These items are stored locally on your device to remember your workspace settings and provide a smooth, customized user experience.

4Offline Reliability & Data Synchronization

To ensure you never lose application checklist updates, requirement notes, or school tracking edits when your internet connection fluctuates, Aplyr uses standard browser storage to queue changes locally until they are successfully verified and synced with our secure cloud servers.

Once synchronized, temporary local queue items are automatically cleared.

5Third-Party Integrations You Choose

If you explicitly choose to connect third-party services to your Aplyr workspace, those providers may process data according to their respective privacy standards:

Google OAuth & Calendar: When signing in with Google or connecting Google Calendar deadline sync, Google’s authentication flows operate under Google's Privacy Policy.
Secure Payment Processing: Payments and billing are processed securely through certified payment gateways (Paystack for local payments and Dodo Payments for international payments). Payment pages operate on secure, encrypted payment infrastructure.

6Managing Your Cookies & Storage

You have full control over your browser storage. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:

Clearing Site Data: You can clear cookies and site storage at any time via your browser's Privacy & Security settings. Note that clearing cookies will sign you out of your workspace.
Browser Controls: Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely or notify you when a cookie is being set.
Account Data Deletion: To permanently delete your server-side account data and tracked schools, you can use the account deletion option in Settings → Security or contact our team.
